What is LinkedIn? LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network with over 80 million members and growing rapidly. LinkedIn connects you to your trusted contacts and helps you exchange knowledge, ideas, and opportunities with a broader network of professionals.

LinkedIn is a vital online resource for networking, unlike other social networks, i.e. Facebook, Myspace, etc.  Linkedin can be utilized to acquire new partners or clients, job searches, (some businesses only advertise on LinkedIn), research and connecting with others with like interests/goals.
