Having worked at Hewlett Packard as Tech Trainer-Marketer in the Mid-Atlantic area, consumer electronics have always been my passion. PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants) i.e. Jornadas were very popular as they had the windows platform and I’ve used mobile devices with the windows platform ever since. But now there are many different platforms to pick from.
With all these options, has anyone ever asked which one fits their lifestyle, business or needs? “Bottom line, it’s not which platform is available that counts, it has to be which one works for me” states Jeanne Fields, one of our CPCUG members.
While we may feel proficient with many consumer electronics & applications, it’s still not clear which platform best suits our needs until now.
The Capital PC User Group (CPCUG) is sponsoring an in-depth Mobile/Platform Tech Day Workshop. This 3 hour event will compare IPHONES (APPLE), OS 5 (BLACKBERRY), ANDROID (Google), WINDOWS (MICROSOFT), & PALM.
